Big Towers
For older babies, add motor skills to a big and small game by having your baby stack similar objects of different sizes. Use blocks, boxes, plastic cups or bowls. Spread out the objects and ask her to find the biggest one. Help her create a tower with the biggest object at the bottom and the smallest on the top. Then watch the excitement as she gets to knock it over! You can vary the game by changing the order or stacking dissimilar objects. This game helps your child develop motor skills as well as size and shape discrimination.
